Important Notice for Customers Ordering to EU Countries: Changes to EU Customs Duty Rules

Starting July 1, 2026, the European Union has changed its customs duty rules. If you are ordering an item to be delivered to an EU member state, please review the following important information.

What has changed

Previously, imports into the EU valued under €150 were exempt from customs duty. As of July 1, 2026, this exemption has been abolished. Regardless of order value, the following duties now apply:

  • Orders under €150: a customs duty of €3 is charged per HS code (product classification code)
  • Orders of €150 or more: the EU's standard common tariff rate applies (the rate varies by product type)

Please note these charges apply to standard online purchases (B2C transactions). Unlike gifts sent between individuals (which remain duty-free under €45), purchases made through our store are subject to duty regardless of order amount.

How the duty is charged

Our store is not registered under the EU's Import One-Stop Shop (IOSS) scheme. This means the customs duty and import VAT described above are not included in your payment at checkout. Instead, they will be collected from you by your local postal service or courier when the package arrives in your country. A separate customs clearance handling fee charged by the local carrier may also apply.

Additional notes

  • Depending on customs procedures, delivery may be delayed, or packages may be returned if required documentation is incomplete.
  • The final duty amount is determined by customs authorities and carriers in your country; we are unable to confirm the exact amount in advance. Please place your order with this in mind.
